Re: 60th Executive Committee Meeting and Call for Submission now Open for XVIII World Congress

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that the call for submissions for the XVIII World Congress of Comparative Education Societies to be held at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA on July 22-26, 2024 is now open: https://www.wcces2024congress.org/call-for-submissions

Please disseminate this call for submissions far and wide in your respective societies as well as your professional network. We would appreciate if the attached congress banner, with a link to the congress website, could be displayed prominently on your society website.

The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2023. We have made the necessary arrangements to proceed with the reviews as we receive the submissions in order to notify the authors of the review outcomes/decision. In part because of the holiday season, we are considering an extension after this first deadline. Each society is encouraged to propose a panel for the congress so that we may leverage the diversity of voices in the Council.

The 60th Meeting of the Executive Committee will be held through Zoom on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Please click on the hyperlink to see the equivalent date/time in your respective time zone. The agenda and Zoom link will be sent to you closer to the meeting date.

Chairs of working groups are requested to email their reports latest by Monday, December 4, 2023 to the Executive Director (executivedirector@wcces-online.org) for timely dissemination to the EC members before the EC meeting.
