An acronym you should remember
For what it represents is truly great

After much planning and negotiation
And challenges that caused much bother
Days, month, times and locations were chosen
So congratulations are in order!

Interim President Professor Azaiki
And his Executive Assistant worked together
Along with other committed individuals
Shouldn’t congratulations be in order?

Professor Steve and his team worked laboriously
And confirmed 7 – 11 December
All hands were on deck to meet this date
So congratulations are in order!

To attach extra intellectual weight
A scholarly Journal was put on the agenda
Contributors worked hard, reviewers too
So congratulations are in order

Monday 8^th of December 2014
Marked the dawn of a new academic era
ISCEST was aptly inaugurated
So congratulations are in order!

The choice of location is so appropriate
No other Nigerian State but Bayelsa
An academic light beams from South-south
So congratulations are in order!

It is prudent for all to keep in mind
The pledges and commitments that come after
So keep the ISCEST Conference spirit alive
So congratulations will be in order!

Equally important for one and all
To give praise and thanks to God our Father
It was in His strength that ISCEST got this far
So keep God’s congratulations in order!
