The first Pan-Ijaw Economic Summit will take place from 3rd – 5th December, 2024, at the Ncdmb Conference Centre, Ox-Bow Lake, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The theme of the event is Environmental Regeneration and Economic Sustainability. The Azaiki Foundation, which was established in 2012, purposes to provide support in building a more educated, egalitarian, and responsive society. It is the bedrock of the Pan Ijaw Economic Summit, but operates with a number of stakeholders and partners, including the Azaiki Library, the Federal Ministry of Environment, the Ijaw Peoples’ Congress of Canada, the Ijaw Peoples’ Organisation of Germany, the National Think Tank of Nigeria and other global partners. ISCEST therefore considers it an honour to be invited to partner with the Pan Ijaw Economic Summit in hosting its first summit. ISCEST views its partnership with the Pan Ijaw Economic Summit as an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and debate that will address strategies that will promote and sustain socioeconomic development.
